As the longest standing course in the subject in the UK, the BA (Honours) Product Design course at Central Saint Martins has an international reputation. It has developed relationships with manufacturing companies, service industries and the design profession who have supported projects and acted in an advisory capacity as clients for students.
This is a practice-based design course for people who can think creatively. The course is not just about providing solutions, but also about asking the right questions in response to a problem. Students explore design issues through creative risk-taking. There is an opportunity to explore a range of design outcomes including packaging, furniture and consumer product design.
