Typographic interpretation. Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have a Dream’.

A hand rendered typographic interpretation of Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech. The piece focuses upon King’s use of metaphor, in particular his reference to land, drawing from landscape to create the form for the handwritten words. It also considers physical aspects of the 1963 march such as the steps upon which the speech was made, and the mass of people present as King spoke.
